The fabric on this dress is wonderful! It is a heavy silk with a iridescent hue to it that makes it take on a life of its own as the hue changes in the light as it moves. Stripes of pink velvet run down tuxedo style down each side of the gown and across the shoulders. The cut is kept simple so that the fabric and color can take center stage. It is basically an A-line sheath that runs from the shoulders. The neckline is an interesting square shape and the cap sleeves constructed almost cape-like to sit atop each shoulder. I just love that velvet detail and the gown is incredibly well constructed. Earlier Feraud pieces are hard to find and this one is wonderful! Excellent condition! Item# DD751
