Stunning sixties dress from Oscar De La Renta in a delicious feminine peach silk organza over a silk crepe interior. The organza is shot through with gold thread. Oscar loved this technique during this time period and these pieces always seem to me to have a bit of a mystical eastern allure to them. The sleeves are slightly full and are left semi-sheer with no lining and each snaps to close at the wrist, creating a slight puff just above. Gold thread highlights this. The collar is notched and completely done in the gold thread and has a nice plunge. The skirt billows out from the waist and a final wide band of gold threading circles the hem. I love it! Mint, unworn condition!
