A stunning sheath of a dress cut to perfection by the great Valentino. This is a piece that dates to the early 90s and it shows in the nod to minimalism. Black silk crepe falls from the one shoulder in a simple, chic sheath. There is minimal seaming - just one down each side and across the top of the shoulder. A slit allows you to walk and flash a little leg on the side opposite to the shoulder. The secret is the bias cut fabric on this one - it gives the dress movement and drape so it skims over your body and settles exactly where it should.
